The MainStreet Theatre Company has announced the cast for the first show of its 2012/2013 season: Pinkalicious the Musical. The musical, based on the best selling book for the younger set, is also written by book authors Elizabeth Kann & Victoria Kann, with Music by John Gregor. The story, about a little girl who eats too many cupcakes and turns pink, has been delighting youngsters since its publication in 2006, and the musical celebrates everything pink while reminding kids that sometimes too much of a good thing is... too much!. Pinkalicious, recommended for ages 5 and up, runs October 6 - 21, 2012.

Vital Theatre Company has announced the extension of Pinkalicious, The Musical at The Culture Project (formerly Bleecker St Theatre) due to popular demand. Tickets are now on sale through February 24th, 2013. Performances are Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm through September 23rd; beginning September 29th, performances are every Saturday at 1:30 pm and every Sunday at 12 noon.
