Des Moines Community Playhouse Presents PINKALICIOUS, 6/7-9 & 16
The Des Moines Community Playhouse presents the new musical, "Pinkalicious," June 7-9 and June 16. Performances are at The Playhouse at 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM, Thursday, June 7, and Friday, June 8, and 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM, Saturday, June 9, and Saturday, June 16. The show is approximately 60 minutes in length. Admission is $8 per person, adults and children. Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe -- a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this pink predicament. "Pinkalicious" is based on the book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann, and is recommended for ages 4 and up.
The Playhouse is Iowa's oldest and largest producing theatre. Located at the 42nd Street exit of I-235, the theatre has presented a full season of shows since 1919 and also offers a wide variety of educational experiences including classes for ages 4 to adult, theatre trips to New York, and volunteer opportunities onstage and backstage.
