One of the goals of The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre has always been to provide entertainment for all ages. That is why, alongside the theatre's Mainstage season which features Broadway style productions, it launched the Children's Theatre in 1996. Since then, the Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway has brought all of the most popular children's fairytales and stories to life on the stage. From productions of Jack and the Beanstalk and Dora the Explorer Live! to The Three Little Pigs and Disney's 101 Dalmatians, Way Off Broadway has been the home to some of the most well known children's characters of all time.

With the 2013 Children's Theatre Season, the list of popular characters to appear at the theatre will only continue to grow. During the first half of the year, Disney and Way Off Broadway will meet with two blockbuster productions, Disney's Aladdin, which will open the 2013 Season, and Disney's Cinderella. The fall will see the return of the most popular show ever to play at the Children's Theatre, Pinkalicious – The Musical. For the holidays, Way Off Broadway will put a new spin on the Charles Dickens' classic with A Children's Theatre Christmas Carol.

DISNEY'S ALADDIN

Welcome to Agrabah, City of Enchantment, where every beggar has a story and every camel has a tail! All of your favorite characters are here in Disney's Aladdin Jr., a stage adaptation of the Disney hit film. Filled with magic, mayhem, and flying carpet rides, audiences' spirits will soar with excitement. Most of all, the tuneful, Academy award-winning score with songs including "A Whole New World" and "Friend Like Me" will certainly make this musical a favorite for many years to come.

Disney's CINDERELLA

PINKALICIOUS – THE MUSICAL
Back by Overwhelming Demand!

This is the tale, based on the popular book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann, of Pinkalicious, who can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this pink predicament.

A CHILDREN'S THEATRE CHRISTMAS CAROL
November 16 – December 28, 2013
A brand new Children's Theatre Christmas show is coming. The classic tale by Charles Dickens is getting a Children's Theatre makeover. Miserly Ebenezer is a man who hates Christmas. So it is up to the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future to help bring the spirit of the season into his life.

"The 2013 Season is going to be a lot of fun for everyone," says Bill Kiska, Way Off Broadway's Executive Producer. "Aladdin and Cinderella are two of Disney's most popular shows and seeing the success of other Disney titles in our Children's Theatre, we wanted the first half of the year to be all Disney."

Following the back-to-back Disney productions, Way Off Broadway is bringing back the musical Pinkalicious which broke all Children's Theatre box office records at the theatre. The first production was such a hit with audiences that additional performances were adding during the run and the Box Office continued to receive calls about the show after it had closed.

"Pinkalicious played to sold out houses every performances," adds Kiska. "The demand for the show was so great we knew we had to bring it back for a limited run next fall."

Children's Theatre performances are every Saturday afternoon and the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, as well as select added weekday performances throughout the year. Tickets are $17 per person with birthday party packages also available.
