Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE… to be held on Monday, March 26th at the series' new home, The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM. Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences.

The national tour of the Lincoln Center Theater Production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I will make its Columbus premiere at the Ohio Theatre April 24-29 with an Ohio native in the lead female role of Anna Leonowens. Hailing from Chagrin Falls, Elena Shaddow takes on the character of the British schoolteacher hired by the King of Siam to educate his wives and children.

It was announced today that Elena Shaddow will join the Lincoln Center Theater production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I as Anna Leonowens, beginning March 20 in Tempe, AZ.

Joining the previously announced women performing in Broadway Baby Mamas in support of Planned Parenthood on March 15th, 2018 at FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, are two time Tony nominee Stephanie J. Block, and Broadway favorites, Sara Jean Ford, Carmen Ruby Floyd, Garrett Elise Long, Megan McGinnis and Natasha Yvette Williams.

Performers scheduled for February 19th are Stefanie Brown (Cruel Intentions), Billy Bustamante (Miss Saigon), Pomme Koch (The Band's Visit), Blaine Krauss (Kinky Boots), Amy Hillner Larsen (The Marvelous Wonderettes), Stephanie Jae Park (The King and I), Nick Sacks (Dear Evan Hansen), Travis J. Shuler (Cruel Intentions) and Matt Wood (SpongeBob SquarePants). Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Eugene Gwozdz.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Ryan Andes (Big Fish-Broadway, Sweeney Todd-Broadway) as studio engineer Max Beft, Megan McGinnis (Les Miserables-Broadway; Beauty And The Beast-Broadway) as Maya, Max's fiancee, Jeff Hiller (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson; Nightcap) as Delivery Guy, and Robbie Rozelle (Songs From Inside My Locker) as theatre producer Mitchie Karabakis in Session Girls on March 6, 2018, 9:30PM.

This morning in the New York Post, columnist Michael Riedel reported that THE BOBBY DARIN STORY, which recently played a three-performance run at the 92nd Street Y could potentially make the jump to full-fledged Broadway musical.

The 92Y had a swinging start to it's Lyrics & Lyricists Series this weekend with a blockbuster show celebrating the life and music of Bobby Darin. Ted Chapin with his first undertaking as L&L producer created a fascinating and entertaining production which had many in the 92Y audience commenting 'move it to Broadway.' In fact the 5 day event had many Broadway producers in attendance as the buzz about the show travelled from 92nd street to 42 street.

Bobby Darin was the most captivating and versatile entertainer of his time, a singer/songwriter/arranger who effortlessly bridged the gap between rock 'n' roll, sophisticated nightclub swing, and folk. Lyrics & Lyricists' 2018 season kicks off with a celebration of Darin's life and improbable career in The Bobby Darin Story, with Tony Award nominee Jonathan Groff (Hamilton), David Pittu (The Front Page), George Salazar (Here Lies Love), Elena Shaddow (The Visit) and Stephanie Styles (Roman Holiday SHN San Francisco). L&L producer Ted Chapin wrote the script and helms the creative team of director Alex Timbers, and music directors Andy Einhorn and Andrew Resnick, with musical staging by Chase Brock.
