Fairfax Avenue, Los Angeles), as part of a National New Play Network (NNPN) Rolling World Premiere with partnering theaters New Repertory Theatre in Boston and Synchronicity Theatre in Atlanta. BOOTLEG THEATER is thrilled to announce the world premiere of THE WILLOWS, written by Kerri-Ann McCalla and directed by Jessica Hanna. Center Theatre Group's Block Party continues with the opening of The Echo Theater Company production of 'Dry Land' at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. Written by Ruby Rae Spiegel and directed by Alana Dietze, 'Dry Land' opened on May 14 and runs through May 21, 2017. BroadwayWorld has photos from the opening festivities below!

Center Theatre Group's Block Party continues with the opening of The Echo Theater Company production of 'Dry Land' this Sunday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. Dallas, summer 1942: Two seemingly ordinary women, Willa Dee and her cousin Emily await the mail.  National Geographic is doing a pictorial about American enlisted men training in the Bahamas, and they've gotten word that their husbands are featured in the photos.  The arrival of the magazine and the viewing of the photographs open up a Pandora's tinder box of memories, revelations and family secrets.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents the Chicago premiere of Stephen Adly Guirgis's 2015 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY, directed by ensemble member Yasen Peyankov, who also directed last season's critically acclaimed Grand Concourse. The rowdy dark comedy stars acclaimed London-born actor Eamonn Walker as ex-cop Pops and ensemble member James Vincent Meredith as his ex-con son Junior. Previews are currently underway for an opening night on July 10; the production runs through August 21, 2016 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St).
