Weems participates in Past Tense, the performance-based piece to be presented on October 13, at 8 pm, at the cultural center, 645 Fifth Avenue, NY. Site-specific installations by three contemporary artists created for Antigone Now will also debut and remain on view through December 15.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) has announced the performer lineup for the Women of Note concert series, celebrating female, queer and trans artists who are changing the landscape of musical theatre. Featuring dynamic sounds and incredible performers, this one-night-only concert event will showcase even more artists than last year in two back-to-back performances. New Georges will celebrate its anniversary season with the World Premiere of Hilary Bettis' Alligator, directed by Elena Araoz, presented in collaboration with The Sol Project this fall, and of Sheila Callaghan and Daniella Topol's collaboratively-created Water at 3LD Art & Technology Center in June of 2017 as part of Water City, a multi-disciplinary art event.
