Commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, Horniman's Choice brings together four plays by the leading figures of the 'Manchester School' of playwrights - Harold Brighouse, Stanley Houghton and Allan Monkhouse, all originally championed by Annie Horniman, owner of Gaiety Theatre, Manchester, the first regional repertory theatre in Britain. Horniman's Choice runs at the Finborough Theatre, playing Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 27 September 2015 (Press Night: Monday, 28 September 2015 at 7.30pm).

Written and directed by Michael Boothroyd, Women & Children will be presented at The Paradise Factory tonight, June 17th at 7:45pm, Sunday, June 21st at 2pm, Tuesday, June 23rd at 9:30pm, Wednesday, June 24th at 4:30pm, Tuesday, July 7th at 4pm and Thursday, July 9th at 6pm, as part of Planet Connections Theatre Festivity 2015.

Glen Roven, Peter Fitzgerald, and Richard Cohen recently announced the formation of a new CD label, GPR Records, (www.GPRRecords.com), which will record and distribute Broadway, classical, spoken word, and children's music. GPR aims to surprise listeners with recordings that are both unusual and entertaining. Last night on April 4th, the group presented 'Poetic License: 100 Poems by 100 Performers' at The Bowery in celebration of the release of its first recording. The stories (and excesses) of Hollywood's Golden Age will be examined through the poetry of Edward Field in Stars in My Eyes, which premiered on Thursday, July 20th at the WorkShop Theater (312 West 36th Street) as part of the Seventh Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival; the show runs through August 5th

Taking place at four different spaces - all on the same block, the Midtown International Theatre Festival will feature approximately 40 shows and run from July 17th - August 6th
