The American Theatre Guild is thrilled to announce that single tickets for the South Bend premiere of DEAR EVAN HANSEN will go on sale Friday, December 16 at 10 a.m. This production is part of the BROADWAY IN SOUTH BEND SERIES and will take the Morris Performing Arts Center stage for eight performances April 25-30, 2023.

Arena Stage Artistic Director Molly Smith to Retire in 2023

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater today announced that Artistic Director Molly Smith has decided to retire in July of 2023. The Arena Stage Board of Trustees will conduct a nationwide search to appoint a new Artistic Director to build on the pioneering legacy of Smith and Arena’s Founder Zelda Fichandler.
Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards Announce Second Round of 2021-22 Recipients

Theatre Communications Group has announced the recipients of the second round of the 2021-22 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards. The awards, totaling $731,000, allow 16 productions extra time for the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, hoping to extend the life of the world premiere play after its first run.

Sapien joined the company in 2019 and most recently served as casting director/line producer.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater partnered with Nationals Park to host a free live simulcast of the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Toni Stone on Sunday, September 26 at 7:30 p.m. The performance inside the Kreeger Theater was broadcast to the center field video board at Nationals Park for thousands to experience.
