New Blues Festival IV will present some of Blues' biggest women artists this year, when the two-day festival takes place Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3 (Labor Day Weekend) at El Dorado Regional Park in Long Beach, Calif.

The largest annual outdoor live music and dancing series in the United States, the 21st Annual Chicago SummerDance invites dancers of all abilities to flock to the Spirit of Music Garden in Grant Park and Chicago Park District locations throughout the city.

Canadian Music Week (CMW) has announced the confirmed speakers, events, and award recipients for the Industry Conferences and Awards taking place April 19 - 21, 2017 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.

The fall 2016 season of /A•STIR/ which included development of five new musicals, wrapped this week. On the heels of a sold out, fall 2015 BC BEAT, the next BC BEAT, set for Monday May 23rd, announces a program of eleven choreographers, launches a new BC BEAT Artist Series, and releases a limited number of advance tickets. 

BC Beat, the bi-annual choreography showcase established to support, explore and experience innovative theatrical dance, announces a line up for Monday May 18th featuring nine choreographers with work performed by a company of 40 artists from Broadway's biggest hits.  The evening kicks off at 7pm with music by DJ Justin Johnston (RENT) at Cielo (18 Little W. 12th Street).

This exciting new production features a revamped script, timeless songs, and a new physical production with an entirely fresh interpretation of the musical. On November 17th, patrons have one chance to see a New York Theatre Barn (The Barn) exclusive Pre-­Premiere* of the new musicals, ROBOTICUS and SOMETHING BLUE at the Daryl Roth Theatre's D-Lounge. The Barn is the only 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre company whose sole mission is 'to give theatre a chance.' For the first time in the series' seven-year history, both presentations will include wireless captions for the deaf/HOH audience members, which can be accessed on personal cellular devices.
