The Mavericks have had a busy 2015. The group released their new album 'Mono,' on Feb. 17 and have been touring all over with their Mono Mundo Tour. The Mavericks reunited to record 'In Time,' which was released last year, after an eight-year hiatus while they worked on solo projects. But the award-winning group says that it's thanks to their loyal fans that they have gotten back together and are better than ever.

Thanks in large part to the Hartford's Arts Jobs Stimulus grant to fund 'Free Theater In The Neighborhoods', HartBeat Ensemble has just completed a highly successful series of free public performances in five of Hartford's parks. The goal of HartBeat Plays in the Parks is to take an important, often difficult, topic and use the medium of theater to engage audiences. The skilled theater troupe used compelling narratives, music and physical humor to address how the economy 'hits home' in Connecticut.
