Since its highly successful Broadway debut 80 years ago, Anything Goes has been revived multiple times and now receives a world premiere symphonic version with Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (ISO) and an all-star Broadway cast, Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10, as part of the ISO's Printing Partners Pops Series at the Hilbert Circle Theatre.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE presents the world premiere of THESE PAPER BULLETS!, a modish ripoff of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, adapted by Rolin Jones, with songs by Billie Joe Armstrong, and directed by Jackson Gay, March 14-April 5 at the University Theatre (222 York Street). Opening Night is Thursday, March 20.

A star-studded musical celebration, the 4th Annual Best of Broadway & Cabaret to benefit the Actors' Temple [339 West 47th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenue], the historic theater district landmark that has been a welcoming home to show business Jews, their family, and friends, took place on November 18. The Best of Broadway & Cabaret come out in support of the Actors' Temple, (est. 1917) tonight, Monday, November 18, 2013 at 7:00 PM. The Fourth Annual Concert Fundraiser will take place at the Temple, 339 West 47th Street. This musical celebration will benefit the theater district historic landmark which has been struggling to survive in recent years.
The Broadway Ballyhoo, now in its sixth month at The Laurie Beechman Theater, will present STEPHEN DeROSA, the multi-talented singer/actor who is currently featured in BETRAYAL and who has starred on Broadway as The Baker in the revival of INTO THE WOODS; he is also well-known for playing Eddie Cantor in EMPIRE BOARDWALK. Also starring this week at the Ballyhoo: JESSICA HENDY who starred on Broadway in CATS, AMOUR, and AIDA. Song and Dance man DANNY GARDNER (Broadway by the Year, Noah Racey's Pulse, and Room 17B) will be on the bill, as will concert and recording artist TEDI MARSH! On August 17, led by current Society President Jan Hernstat of Long Island, New York, the IAJS will hold its 17th annual Long Island Al Jolson Festival, from 9am to 4:30 pm, at Oceanside Knights of Columbus, 2985 Kenneth Place, Oceanside, NY 11572. Starring at this year's event will be Staten Island-based singer Tony Babino (known as "The Heart of Al Jolson) with Dave Gross at the Piano. Babino will be performing from 2:30-3:30. Also appearing will be Los Angeles-based entertainer Richard Halpern (called "Mr. Tin Pan Alley"), singer/songwriter Brian Gari, who is the grandson of the legendary Broadway star Eddie Cantor. This year's special guest will be the famed TV and radio talk show host Joe Franklin. There will also be a special Jolson DVD Presentation and a Society Auction consisting of donated memorabilia.
