The 75th Anniversary Gala is a celebration of Paper Mill's legacy as a world-class producer of theater and its role as a pioneer in arts education for three-quarters of a century,' stated Mark S. Hoebee, Paper Mill Playhouse Producing Artistic Director. 'The annual benefit will offer an evening of dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions and entertainment by students from Paper Mill Playhouse's arts education programs, The Eddie Bruce Band and headlining this memorable evening is star of Newsies and NBC's Smash, Jeremy Jordan.'

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced a unique fundraiser on the stage of the historic Millburn Theater tonight, September 15, at 7:00pm. With live-entertainment by cabaret performer Eddie Bruce, cocktail party guests will be treated to food from Exquisite Entertaining, one of NJ's premier caterers known for their delectable creations, and wine by Sean Larkin whose Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon have garnered rave reviews. Tickets are $300 per person, $200 of which is tax deductible, and all of the proceeds will go to benefit the many artistic, education, and outreach programs of Paper Mill Playhouse.

Philly's Prince Music Theater Files for Bankruptcy

Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater (Chesnut Street) has filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11, halting a scheduled sheriff's sale on Tuesday, October 5. The anticipated sale came in the wake of a foreclosure statement made by TD Bank two years ago, in which they cited the Prince for nonpayment of debt. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, the theater owes TD Bank approximately $4.8 million.
