Broken Nose Theatre is pleased to announce a full line-up for 2018, featuring three world premiere productions for the Chicago stage to be presented at its new resident home, The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

Kicking off the 2017-2018 Steppenwolf for Young Adults (SYA) season is Arthur Miller's The Crucible, directed by Jonathan Berry. Steppenwolf Theatre Company announces complete casting for the first two shows of its 2017/18 season: The Rembrandt by Jessica Dickey, directed by Hallie Gordon and Steppenwolf for Young Adults' production of The Crucible by Arthur Miller, directed by Jonathan Berry.

Public performances for The Crucible are Saturday, October 7 at 3pm and 7:30pm; Sunday, October 8 at 3pm; Friday, October 13 at 7:30pm; Saturday, October 14 at 3pm and 7:30pm; and Saturday, October 21 at 3pm and 7:30pm in the Downstairs Theatre. The press performance is Saturday, October 7 at 3pm. Weekday performances are reserved for school groups only. Tickets to public performances ($20; $15 with student I.D.) are currently on sale through Audience Services (1650 N Halsted St), 312-335-1650 and steppenwolf.org.

After selling-out six-weeks of performances since opening on June 29, 2017, Broken Nose Theatre's hit remount of AT THE TABLE is pleased to announce three additional weeks of performances, now extending August 6 - 26, 2017 at The Den Theatre (Upstairs Main Stage), 1333 N. Today, The Hawk Chicago announced nominations for the inaugural Chicago Theatre Awards, a contest in which all winners are chosen entirely by audience vote. The first round, which invited write-in submissions, ended June 23rd. The official nominees were decided by almost 1,600 voters.

"At the Table", Michael Perlman's drama of scintillating conversation between diverse friends during a weekend in the country, took home the most honors on Monday, June 5, during the 44th Annual Non-Equity Jeff Awards ceremony recognizing excellence in non-union Chicago theatre.

The Jeff Awards announced, via a special video presentation, a total of 127 nominations in 26 categories for the 44th Annual Non-Equity Jeff Awards for productions that opened between April 1, 2016, and March 31, 2017.  Hosting the video presentation were Alexis Roston and Lillian Castillo, who will be this year's Mistresses of Ceremonies at the Awards event on June 5 at The Athenaeum.

The New Colony continues its 2017 Season with the world premiere of Connor McNamara's political thriller SCAPEGOAT; OR (WHY THE DEVIL ALWAYS LOVED US), directed by Kristina Valada-Viars, playing April 13 - May 7, 2017 at The New Colony's resident home, The Den Theatre's Upstairs Main Stage, 1333 N. Broken Nose Theatre's second year as a Pay-What-You-Can theatre company continues with the Midwest Premiere of AT THE TABLE by Michael Perlman, following the play's Off-Broadway world premiere. Helmed by BNT Director of Programming Spenser Davis, the production runs through March 11 at the Berger Park Coach House, 6205 N. Sheridan. After record-setting pre-sales, a Jeff Committee recommendation and a sold-out Opening Weekend, the show launches into its second weekend tonight.
