Composer Jason Robert Brown has built quite a catalog of his own songs, having written the music to such Broadway shows as Parade, Honeymoon in Vegas, The Bridges of Madison County, and many more, but now he is branching out into the works of the Piano Man himself. Jason Robert Brown revealed in concert on Friday night at SubCulture in New York City that he is at work on a new musical adaptation of the 1992 Tom Hanks film, A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN. No word yet as to when we may hear the Tony Award-winner's score or who else is on the creative team.

Theatre for Young America presents E.B. White's classic and touching tale of friendship, and sacrifice with its production of Charlotte's Web from today, March 3, 2015 through April 11, 2015. Performances take place on the H&R Block City Stage on level B in Union Station. Union station is located at 30 W. Pershing Road in Kansas City, Missouri.

Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre's Pyramid Players have extended the run for their first Live Theatre for Kids production of 2015: a stage adaptation of the beloved children's story, Charlotte's Web.

Skippyjon Jones, a new musical based on the bestselling book by Swarthmore's Judy Schachner, will be performed by the professional actors of Theatreworks USA at Upper Darby Performing Arts Center tonight, February 20 at 7:30 PM. Young audiences will learn moving lessons of friendship and love delivered by a most unlikely duo - a spider and a pig! - as Theatreworks USA presents the heartwarming musical "Charlotte's Web" at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Performances are on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
