Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig, lead producers of Kinky Boots, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony® Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), have announced casting for the second year of the first national tour.

Broadway in Bryan Park continued its 2015 program on Thursday - and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the first day. The Groovy Projects (www.thegroovyprojects.com) celebrates their second annual Groovy Project's 'FUNdraiser' Benefit Monday March 30, 2015 beginning at 6:00pm at Therapy Lounge and Bar (348 West 52nd St, NY, NY 10019). Hosted by Nate Lombardi (Founder, The Groovy Projects), the benefit features a buffet of hors d'oeuvres, special drinks and pricing, live musical performances, merriment, and a call to supporting arts education for students through the work of The Groovy Projects.

Just yesterday, beloved songwriters Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, along with cast members from Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, gathered at Serendipity 3 to celebrate their 60th Anniversary with the unveiling of a new treat, the 'Pleasant Valley Sundae': a chart-topping concoction of three scoops of vanilla and chocolate ice cream, drizzled with 'Some Kind of Wonderful' caramel, chocolate, and white chocolate sauces, balancing a solid dark chocolate Baby Grand Piano, holding yet another scoop of vanilla ice cream rising to stardom and completed with a dark chocolate piano lid, grasping a music legend cloud of whipped cream, leading down to a 'Pleasant Valley Sunday' sprinkled with candy musical notes to surely make 'The Earth Move' under your feet! Just last night, Manhattan Theatre Club presented its annual Spring Gala an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special evening highlighting some of Broadway's most exciting shows. The special night featured performances by Fantasia Barrino, Adam Jacobs, James Monroe Iglehart, Kelli O'Hara, Nick Cordero, Brooks Ashmanskas, Jefferson Mays, Bryce Pinkham, Lena Hall, Caissie Levy, Andy Karl and more. Today Contemporary musical theatre songwriters Douglas Lyons and Ethan Pakchar have digitally released their debut album, '#Love (Live).

New composing team LYONS & PAKCHAR will digitally release their debut album #Love December 2nd! #Love ,an 11-song album that mixes pop, R&B and theatre, explores 'the good, bad and awkward roller coasters in human relationships. The two began collaborating while touring with 1st National Tour of The Book of Mormon. Douglas Lyons and actor onstage and Ethan Pakchar a guitarist in the orchestra.

Nuns, who are traditionally known as those fearsome enforcers of strict rules, wielding punishing rulers, and giving lesser human beings the evil eye. The purveyors of such wisdom as 'don't wear patent leather shoes because they reflect up,' 'don't go on a date to a restaurant with white tablecloths because it will remind the boy of bed sheets,' 'red clothing incites passion,' and 'don't wear makeup as it entices the devil.'
