Lewis Black To Host SING! CELEBRATING THE MUSICALS OF WTF 11/15

The Williamstown Theatre Festival (Jenny Gersten, Artistic Director) will honor the Festival's rich musical tradition at its 2010 Benefit on Monday, November 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Prince George Ballroom in New York City, it was announced today.

The first major revival of David Hirson's Olivier Award-winning comedy LA BÊTE starring Tony and Olivier Award winner Mark Rylance, Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce, and BAFTA Award winner (and star of 'Absolutely Fabulous') Joanna Lumley began previews at Broadway's Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street) on September 23, 2010. This new production, helmed by acclaimed director Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage, Boeing-Boeing, The Norman Conquests), opened last night, October 14. This immediately follows a limited summer engagement at the Comedy Theatre in London's West End from June 26-September 4, 2010 with opening night of July 7. Winslet & Foster Lead Polanski-Helmed 'God Of Carnage' FIlm

Deadline.com exclusively reports this morning that Kate Winslet and Jodi Foster will star in the film adaptation of Yasmina Reza's Tony-winning play, God Of Carnage, to be directed by Roman Polanski. Inglorious Basterd's Christoph Waltz and Crash's Matt Dillion will play their spouses. Reza has adapted her original script for the screen alongside Polanski. Though the film is set in Brooklyn, New York, the 12-week filming will begin in Paris in February due to Polanski's legal troubles in the US.

Baker to Appear in 'Burn Notice' Season Finale

According to Deadline.com, Dylan Baker is set to star in the upcomng season finale of Burn Notice on USA. He will be playing a man from Michael's past. Burn Notive rurns to television in November.

Baker, Lillard and Irving to Guest Star on 'House'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, FOX's hit show 'House' will feature guest appearances from Dylan Baker, Matthew Lillard and Amy Irving in its seventh season. The show's executive producer, Katie Jacobs confirmed the news last Monday, adding that Jennifer Grey is also scheduled to appear on the show.

Williamstown Festival's 'FORUM' Closes 7/11; SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION Up Next

Williamstown Theatre Festival's production of the Tony Award-winning musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum will close on July 11. The all-male cast is directed by Jessica Stone (Butley, The Odd Couple), musical directed by Gary Adler (Avenue Q, Altar Boyz), and choreographed by Denis Jones (Legally Blonde, Broadway Bares).

Hecht, Baker et al. Lead Williamstown Theatre Festival this Summer; Casting Announced

Artistic Director Nicholas Martin has announced the casting for the next three productions of the Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2010 Season: Our Town by Thornton Wilder, playing the Main Stage July 28 - August 8, Fifth of July by Lanford Wilson playing the Main Stage August 11 - 22, and the world premiere of After the Revolution by Amy Herzog on the Nikos Stage July 21 - August 1.
