Eric Petersen & Veronica Kuehn to Star in ELF at Theater at Madison Square Garden

BSL Enterprises, LLC and MSG Entertainment announced today casting for the upcoming holiday production of ELF The Musical, which will play the Theater at Madison Square Garden as part of the 2015 national tour for a limited three week engagement from December 9 through December 27, 2015. On the Twentieth Century Closes on Broadway

On the Twentieth Century, our final musical revival of the 2014-2015 season, closed on Sunday, July 19 at the American Airlines Theatre. The critically acclaimed production played a total of 144 performances from its first preview on February 12.  Starring Kristin Chenoweth and Peter Gallagher, On the Twentieth Century came in with a roar and was greeted with rave reviews from publications such as The New York Times, Variety, and Daily News. Audiences thoroughly enjoyed this 'screwball comedy' that was 'performed with manic energy by a super cast toplined by charismatic stars' (Variety).

Broadway legend Joel Grey (CABARET, WICKED) and Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein (FINDING NEVERLAND) were honored last night at this year's Fred and Adele Astaire Awards. The gala evening CELEBRATED the 2015 season's outstanding dance and choreography on Broadway and film. The Actors Fund's annual gala last night, May 11, 2015 honored Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman and three-term mayor of New York City, entrepreneur and philanthropist Michael R. Bloomberg, Founder of Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies. Bloomberg and Freeman received The Fund's Medal of Honor, the highest award given by the 133-year old non-profit human services organization serving everyone in performing arts and entertainment. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Roundabout Theatre Company is canceling its June 7th matinee of On the Twentieth Century to accommodate star Kristin Chenoweth's co-hosting gig with Alan Cumming for the 2015 TONY AWARDS and the cast's performance that evening. Chenoweth will also be absent from the 8 p.m. show on June 6th.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY star Kristin Chenoweth will be out again for Sunday's matinee. The star missed performances on Friday and on Saturday due to illness. Chenoweth's understudy is Mamie Parris. No word yet on when she'll be back in the show- stay tuned!
