Zelda at the Oasis, a new play by P. H. Lin, directed by Andy Sandberg (The Last Smoker in America), will celebrate its New York Premiere on Friday, November 16th when it begins previews at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street, in the heart of Times Square. The official opening is Tuesday, December 4th at 7 PM. Zelda at the Oasis, which features Edwin Cahill and Gardner Reed, is an open-ended engagement.

Ryan Scott Oliver and The Musical Theater Program at Pace University are currently accepting submissions of new musical theater works for a series of performances at Pace University in January 2013.

Cutting-Edge Composers presented the next generation of musical theatre songwriters last night, July 23 at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 w. 46th Street). The event was directed and produced by Laura Pietropinto (Next to Normal), co-produced by Jillian Robbins and Musically Directed by Virginia Hart Pike. MAC Award nominated songwriters Sam Carner & Derek Gregor (Unlock'd) and Drew Fornarola (COLLEGE The Musical) team up for AWKWARD THREESOME: Carner & Gregor and also Fornarola at The Duplex Thursday, June 28 at 9:30pm. They will be joined by some of Broadway's top young performers. The songwriters will present selections from their shows, as well as debuting a new song co-written by all three of them. The evening will be directed by Marlo Hunter with music direction by Gregor and Emily Whitaker. Scheduled to perform are Claybourne Elder (Bonnie and Clyde); Ali Ewoldt (Les Miserables); Alyssa Fox (Wicked - SF); Julie Reiber (Wicked); A.J. Shively (La Cage Aux Folles); Brian Sills (The Lion King Tour); Sarah Stiles (Avenue Q); and Dashaun Young (The Lion King).

Ticket prices for this event are $25 for regular general admission, $35 for premium reserved seating at the best tables in the house. In addition, there is a $15 food and beverage minimum for each guest; doors open for seating at 6:30pm.
