SHREK Comes To The Marriott Theatre For Young Audiences This October

Rediscover the true form of love and friendship with Jeanine Tesori and David Lindsay Abaire's musical adaptation of the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation hit, SHREK THE MUSICAL at The Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences, 10 Marriott Drive in Lincolnshire, from October 5 through December 30, 2018, with a press opening on Saturday October 13 at 10:00 a.m.  With its clever and humorous take on classic fairytales, this fun and adventure-filled production will be directed by Scott Weinstein, with choreography by William Carlos Angulo and musical direction by Matt Deitchman.

Rachel Crow Releases Confident New Video COULDA TOLD ME ft. Rapper CHIKA

Singer-songwriter and actress Rachel Crow releases her video for  “Coulda Told Me” featuring singer and rapper Chika, which premiered on Refinery29. The new video was directed by Brad Wong (Bazzi “Mine”) and showcases the ups and downs of Rachel's relationship with her partner who just can't seem to communicate with her and features hot new viral rapper Chika, who dives into her feels as she plays devil's advocate to Rachel's point. The new track marks a point of musical maturity for Rachel, channeling her influences from Kehlani to SZA and Beyoncé, while keeping the fun and relatability of classic TLC.

Cicely Tyson to Receive Governors Award from the Academy

The Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted Tuesday night (September 4) to present Honorary Awards to publicist Marvin Levy, composer Lalo Schifrin and actress Cicely Tyson, and the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award to producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall.  The three Oscar® statuettes and Thalberg Award will be presented at the Academy's 10th Annual Governors Awards on Sunday, November 18, at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center®.

The September 19 reading and the master classes that precede and follow it marks the first installment of the 2018 Gates Ferry Lecture Series: "What is Truth?" Paramount Worldwide Acquisitions Acquires the North American Rights to Sarah Jessica Parker's HERE AND NOW

Paramount Worldwide Acquisitions announced today that it has acquired the North American rights to the Sarah Jessica Parker (“Divorce,” “Sex and the City”) drama HERE AND NOW (formerly titled Blue Night).  The film will be distributed by Paramount Home Media Distribution on Digital and VOD beginning November 9, 2018, the same day that it will debut in theaters from AMBI Distribution.
