Barter Theatre officials announced today its 2019 season lineup during an exclusive event highlighting select excerpts from various upcoming productions. The event included the details of 16 diverse shows planned for 2019 with the theme of Love, Laughter, and Passion.

The internationally-acclaimed hit theater show The Simon & Garfunkel Story will stop by the Capitol Theater at Overture Center for the Arts on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 2 and 8 p.m. during the 35-city U.S. tour. The immersive concert-style theater show chronicles the amazing journey shared by the folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It tells the story from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the '60s to their dramatic split in 1970. It culminates with the famous "The Concert in Central Park" reunion in 1981 with more than half a million fans in attendance.

Cal State Fullerton's Fall musical is the warm-hearted family play "Children of Eden" featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, (creator of the Tony-Award winning "Wicked," "Pippin" and "Godspell") with a book by John Caird. The production is directed by professional director and actor Rufus Bonds, Jr. with musical direction by David Lamoureaux and choreography by William F. Lett, running October 26-November 11 in the Little Theatre on campus. "Children of Eden" is a musical telling of the inspirational stories of "Adam and Eve," "Noah and the Ark" and other stories from the "Book of Genesis."

On Nov. 6, Disney's 'Christopher Robin,' the wondrous, live-action film in which Winnie the Pooh and friends venture into mid-century London to help grown-up Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor), arrives instantly on Digital and Movies Anywhere and on Blu-ray and DVD with captivating, behind-the-scenes extras. Garry Marshall Theatre is back with the highly anticipated marshallARTS family storytelling program Storybook Pages with the Caldecott Honor-winning children's book Extra Yarn written by Mac Barnett and illustrated by Jon Klassen on Saturday, October 13 at 11am.

Jess Robinson's latest UK tour to include run at London's Soho Theatre Live Nation by arrangement with Troika are delighted to announce that singer and impressionist, Jess Robinson will tour the UK with her latest show, No Filter, following a hugely successful run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The tour will take in an initial 26 dates, beginning at The Cookie, Leicester on 20th February 2019 and concluding at London's Soho Theatre on 8th June 2019 where Jess will be joined by her live band, Jessington World of Adventures.
