Im Oktober wird die deutschsprachige Premiere von SHREK bekanntermaßen in Dusseldorf Einzug halten. Nach einer dreimonatigen Spielzeit im Capitol Theater geht es dann aber weiter in die Schweiz. Ab 18. Feburar kann man SHREK - DAS MUSICAL dann fur 2 Wochen im Theater 11 in Zurich zu sehen bekommen.

Gar nicht mehr „weit, weit weg" ist die Premiere des preisgekronten Musicals SHREK am 19. Oktober 2014 im Capitol Theater Dusseldorf. Auf der Buhne werden dann die bekannten Musical-Darsteller Andreas Lichtenberger, Bettina Monch, Andreas Wolfram und Carsten Lepper stehen. Sie ubernehmen die Rollen der vier Hauptcharaktere Shrek, Fiona, Esel und Lord Farquaad.

Producers of SHREK THE MUSICAL today announced that the larger-than-life production will coming to the King's Theatre on 29 April Sunday 17 May 2015, direct from London, where it was seen live on stage by nearly a million people. SHREK THE MUSICAL will be directing by Nigel Harman who starred as Lord Farquaad in the west end production, winning him the 2012 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical.

The show plays at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre (61 Christopher Street at 7th Ave) tonight, April 22nd at 9:30pm. The evening is curated and directed by Joshua W. Kelley, with music direction by Addison O'Donnell, and stage managed by Coleman Annison.
