Lillias White (Fela, The Life, etc.) lent her talents for a surprise Q&A with the students of Broadway Artists Alliance. White shared her experiences in the business and expert advice to the 100 eager up-and-coming young artists ages 10 to 21.

The Carlyle Hotel (Erich Steinbock, Managing Director) is pleased to welcome Olivier and Tony Award-winner Douglas Hodge (La Cage Aux Folles) to the legendary Café Carlyle in his debut engagement. Beginning Tuesday, March 15 (and playing through Saturday, March 26), Mr. Hodge returns to New York to offer an evening of great American story songs, including some of his own compositions from the new musical, Meantime. He will play piano, guitar, and sing with support from a 3-piece band: Sonny Paladino (piano/musical director), Steve Millhouse (bass), and Jared Schonig (drums).

LA CAGE AUX FOLLES made Tony Awards history last year as the first show to ever win the Tony Award three times for best production - the classic musical comedy won six Tony Awards in 1984, including Best Musical, and a Broadway revival won two 2005 Tony Awards including the Best Revival of a Musical prize. LA CAGE also won the 2010 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, as well as Tony Awards for Best Actor in a Musical (Douglas Hodge) and Best Director of a Musical (Terry Johnson).
