The Tony Awards Administration Committee announced today the Nominating Committee for the 2015-2016 Broadway season.  The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. 

New plays by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Paula Vogel and the actor and playwright Colman Domingo will be produced by the Vineyard Theatre during 2015-16 season, it has been announced by Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern. A third mainstage production for next season is still to be announced. Vineyard Theatre is located at 108 E. 15 St. in New York City.

The Vineyard Theatre announced today that due to demand the world premiere of the original musical BROOKLYNITE will extend its limited engagement by one week and will now run through Sunday, March 29. Legendary director/writer/producer Garry Marshall will direct the Vineyard Theatre's New York debut of Mike Bencivenga's comedy BILLY & RAY this fall, with performances set to begin October 2 and an opening night scheduled for October 20 at The Vineyard, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director, and Sarah Stern, Co-Artistic Director.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 271 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2014.
