Ever heard the old adage that you should never share the stage with a dog? Next Stop Theatre's production of A. R. Gurney's empty-nest comedy 'Sylvia' shows it goes double when an actress is the one playing a dog. Sherry Berg has one of the most entertaining roles imaginable-Sylvia the mutt, part poodle (mais oui) and part street ('sup). Her shameless, joyful romp is the highlight of the show.

Crash of Rhinos, an endangered little theater company, announced today it was bringing back "Sacred Cows" - Charter Theater's hit comedy from 2005 - for a limited-engagement run this May. An evening of irreverent comedy that skewers religious intolerance, "Sacred Cows" takes theatergoers on a hilarious rollercoaster ride to Heaven, Hell and all points in between. The show runs for three Saturdays only - May 3, 10 and 17 at 7:30 pm - in the black-box theater at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Georgetown.

Crash of Rhinos, an endangered little theater company, has become the new theater company in residence at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, following on the heels of such previous resident companies as Rorschach Theater and Charter Theater. As the resident theater, Crash will produce a slate of new play readings, short films and one new production in 2014 - many of which will provide behind-the-scenes educational opportunities for the students enrolled in the Conservatory's accredited acting program.
