The Hollywood Museum has become the most popular depository for all things entertainment for film and television.  Among the history rich exhibits filling multiple floors is the fan favorite Dungeon of Doom, that hosts the original costumes worn by classics and iconic characters such as Frankenstein, Michael Myers (Halloween), Jason Vorhees (Friday the 13th), Freddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street) to wardrobe from Sweeny Todd, Van Helsing, Underworld, The Walking Dead and sinister sensations induced by the original set for Silence of the Lambs in their Dungeon of Doom.

On Thursday, July 12th, Hollywood maven and powerhouse, Donelle Dadigan, (Co-Founder of the Jose Iturbi Foundation/President & Founder of The Hollywood Museum, Chairman of The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce) invited a select group of VIPs for an evening of dinner and a concert at The Hollywood Bowl as the Los Angeles Philharmonic presented an evening of Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No.2 under the stars with Behzod Abduraimov on piano and conductor, Gustavo Dudamel.

President/Founder of The Hollywood Museum, Donelle Dadigan, along with Council Member Mitch O'Farrell and Board President Esteban Montemayor of Christopher Street West, kicked off Pride weekend with the annual 'Real to Reel' exhibit that shines the spotlight on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBTQ) community in television and film through the decades. This year's event also feature a special recognition with The Future of Hollywood Award presented to actress Stephanie Beatriz and the Legacy Award to TONY Award winning actress, Julie Newmar.

The Hollywood Museum is thrilled to announce its 2017 salute to the LGBTQ community's contributions to the entertainment industry. The fourth annual "REAL to REEL: Portrayals and Perceptions of LGBTQs in Hollywood" exhibit, in partnership with Los Angeles City Council member Mitch O'Farrell, is an educational, entertaining and informative retrospective of LGBTQ images in film, TV, new digital platforms featuring costumes, props, photos, and iconic imagery all telling the story of the milestones and influence that LGBTQ characters and plot lines have had in Hollywood from early stereotypes to modern-day representations.

The Hollywood Museum is pleased to present "Jean Harlow: Hollywood's First Blond Bombshell," opening to the public on Today, March 3rd, 2017, in celebration of Harlow's birthday. Born Harlean Carpenter, the Kansas City, MO native would have been 106. Producer and entrepreneur, Howard Hughes, is credited with discovering many of Hollywood's golden age leading ladies, but Harlow was his first. From vintage vixens to modern movie mavens (Monroe, Mansfield, Modonna and even Lady Gaga), have all paid homage to the great Jean Harlow, who died mysteriously at the age of 26. Max Factor, who created the "Platinum" blonde look, first unveiled it on Harlow and recreated for Marilyn Monroe - both in the Max Factor Studio's, now The Hollywood Museum.

On Friday, Nov 25th, President and Founder of The Hollywood Museum, Donelle Dadigan, hosted an eclectic and elite list of Hollywood entertainers who gathered to decorate Christmas trees at The Hollywood Museum, on the second floor surrounded by the current 'Child Stars: Then and Now Exhibit. Over 20 ornaments were signed and decorated by personalities, and in some cases entire casts, to be auctioned on ebay at http://m.ebay.com/sch/aminorconsideration0/m.html?isRefine=true&_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_mwBanner=1 to raise funds for A Minor Consideration (AMC).

President and Founder of The Hollywood Museum, Donelle Dadigan, hosted a very special Lobby Exhibit unveiling, featuring items and from the career of Tippi Hedren (including items worn in the film 'The Birds,' Edith Head's dress form designed to Tippi's exact measurements, her Golden Globe and a personal gift presented by Alfred Hitchcock when he and his wife, Alma, informed her that she had been chosen to portray Melanie Daniels in 'The Birds).
