Ensemble for the Romantic Century's Executive Artistic Director, Eve Wolf, is proud to announce that Emmy Winner Peter Scolari (HBO's Girls) has just joined the cast of The Drefyus Affair at BAM in the role of Emile Zola.

Thursday evening November 19th was a busy night of art openings in Chelsea despite the torrential downpours that bathed Manhattan, but none more significant than the Suzanne LaFleur Exhibition opening reception at the Hollis Taggart Gallery at 521 West 26th Street. Attended wall-to-wall, canvas-to-canvas by lovers of abstract expressionism at its best, LaFleur's meteoric rise among art critics and collectors alike has established her as one of the preeminent artists of her generation in the genre. In anticipation of the film adaptation, F. Scott Fitzgerald's THE GREAT GATSBY rose to the top of the ranks on Amazon, outselling any other fiction or nonfiction piece for the week.

Kobo Inc., a global leader in eReading, today announced that it has exceeded 2012 market forecasts, doubling device sales and attracting more than 4 million new customers within the last six months to bring its total to more than 12 million registered users. Contradicting forecasts claiming eReader sales would decline in 2012, Kobo's E Ink eReader sales were up nearly 150 percent in December, helping the company to carve out 20 percent of the global eReader market [source: DigiTimes]. In less than twelve months, the company launched three new eReading devices and further established its eReading services in new territories including Brazil, Portugal, Italy, Japan, Spain, South Africa, and the Netherlands this year. The annual growth and outstanding international performance culminated in Kobo users reading more than 22 million pages on Christmas Day.
