BWW Review: PRIVATE LIVES at the Stratford Festival Offers a Fun Night Out for Audiences

PRIVATE LIVES is one of Noel Coward's greatest works. It is timeless in its humour and with the right cast, it is a delightfully hilarious exploration of all sides of love and passion. The cast assembled in the Stratford Festival's production does justice to Coward's clever use of words and wit, all but guaranteeing the audience a fun night out at the theatre.

When talking about the track lead singer Dimitri Giannopoulos says, “One night in 2014 John and I were walking back to my apartment from somewhere and he told me he read this article about a person who fell through a ceiling at Logan airport. We went to my place and watched this experimental horror movie called “begotten.” it made me feel a certain way and I wanted to capture the image of something surreal so I took the story john told me and tried to make my own vague ominous version of it. We started playing the song live around then and it took us about five years to get the pacing and tone of this track right. We recorded it two separate times in the studio”

Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation Launches Podcast To Celebrate New York Theatre

The Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation today announced the debut of their first-ever podcast focused on Off-Broadway and the arts, entitled "Live at the Lortel." The first round of conversations will be recorded over two dates in June at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in the West Village, to be released in July.
