On February 11th the fourteen finalists of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition competed live on stage at the Fabulous Fox. Students vied for $50,000 in college scholarships, cash awards and special prizes.

Jacob's Ladder is described in the Book of Genesis as a staircase to heaven that the biblical Patriarch Jacob dreamed about during his flight from his brother Esau. It is often used as an analogy for the spiritual ascetic of life. JACOB'S LADDER, a new play by Dennis Bailey & David Mixner, now in its World Premiere staging by Theatre en Bloc, tells the story of a hero, also named Jacob, who's not born but cornered as he wrestles with the idea that all evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

COCK, a comedy by Mike Bartlett, tells the story of John, a young man who takes a break from his boyfriend, and accidentally meets the woman of his dreams. This leaves John to grapple with self-identity, while still being deeply in love with both his partners. The problem is that everyone wants him to decide: Who is he? What is he? And what will his decision be?
