TOOTSIE, the hilarious Tony Award-winning musical, is coming to DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids, MI from October 11-16, 2022.

TOOTSIE, the hilarious Tony Award-winning musical, is coming to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for a limited one-week engagement from Tuesday, October 25  to Sunday, October 30, 2022.

HELLO, DOLLY!, the musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder's hit play 'The Matchmaker,' bursts with humor, romance, and some of the greatest songs in musical theatre history. Experience this charming Broadway hit directed and choreographed by 2-time Tony Award nominee Denis Jones. Musical direction is by Jeff Award winner Ryan T. Nelson.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has just announced initial casting for its Broadway Center Stage production of Guys and Dolls. What did our critic think? Denis Jones (Director/Choreographer) and Barry Busby (Associate Choreographer) have assembled a splendid cast plus an ensemble of highly skilled dance professionals to pack the expansive Muny stage. Their choreography pays tribute to Fosse’s sexy and subtle work but morph it into grand movements that play to the back of this massive 11,000-seat house. Their choreography on “We Both Reached for the Gun” is an electrifying delight.

What did our critic think of Tootsie in Costa Mesa? Despite a still problematic central premise, the non-equity national tour of the stage adaptation of TOOTSIE---now playing at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa through June 12, 2022---is, for the most part, a funny but flawed musical sprinkled with lots of funny lines, rapid-fire humor, and amusing shenanigans.

The Muny announced today its full cast, design and production teams for the theatre's production of Chicago, June 13-19. The cast features Sarah Bowden (Roxie Hart), J. Harrison Ghee (Velma Kelly), Adam Heller (Amos Hart), Emily Skinner (Matron 'Mama' Morton), James T. Lane (Billy Flynn) and Ali Ewoldt (Mary Sunshine).
