The Tribeca Film Institute (TFI) today announced the projects that will receive financial and creative support from the TFI Sloan Filmmaker Fund, provided by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. This year, four projects which were chosen from 127 applicants from around the world, will be awarded a total of $140,000 and will be recognized at the annual Tribeca Film Festival, taking place April 17-28, 2013. The winning films are: 2030, Newton's Laws of Emotion, Oldest Man Alive and The Doctor. The projects, which all integrate science and technology themes and characters into their story lines, focus on subjects ranging from climate change and genetic engineering to physics, medicine and invention.

On LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT's upcoming episode, titled 'Undercover Blue,' as he prepares to testify against pimp Bart Ganzel, a woman comes forward claiming that Brian Cassidy (guest star Winters) raped her while he was an undercover detective.

'Mazel Tov, Dummies!' - After an encounter with Dennis Duffy (guest star Dean Winters), Liz (Fey) and Criss (Marsden) decide to take drastic measures to start a family. As Liz looks toward the future, Jack (Baldwin) and Jenna (Krakowski) evaluate their own self-worth, and Tracy (Morgan) laments a shocking medical diagnosis. 30 ROCK airs on NBC on Thursday, November 29 at 8:00 pm!

NBC today announced that Paget Brewster will guest-star in a special two-hour season premiere of LAW & ORDER: SVU. Currently the longest-running drama series on television, the show's 14th season will premiere tonight, September 26 from 9-11 pm ET. Brewster, who most recently starred as Emily Prentiss on 'Criminal Minds,' will guest star as the head of the DA's Public Integrity Unit who has the unenviable task of handling the case against Captain Cragen (Dann Florek), who is under suspicion of murder.

NBC today announced that Paget Brewster will guest-star in a special two-hour season premiere of LAW & ORDER: SVU.

On June 18, Robert Nicotra & John Dapolito presented Let's Kill Grandma This Christmas- A Contagious Laughter Production, at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios. The new comedy by Brian Gianci featured casting by Judy Bowman, and is aiming for an Off-Broadway run this winter. On Wednesday, November 16, 2011 over 200 people attended 'Stockings with Care's Celebrity Bartending Night' in New York City at Hudson Station Bar and Grill. Stockings with Care provides holiday gifts for children whose families either live in homeless shelters or are in jeopardy of becoming homeless.

New York's television and theatrical celebrities will take their place behind the bar at the semi-annual 'Stockings with Care Celebrity Bartending Night' in New York City, Wednesday November 16 at Hudson Station Bar and Grill (440 Ninth Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets) from 7pm to 11pm to raise money for the not-for-profit organization.

Little Bear, the Queensland Healer Dog of Former First Lady Nancy Reagan and the late President Ronald Reagan will make his cinematic debut in the role of "Teddy the First Dog" in producer, writer and director, Bryan Michael Stoller's film, "First Dog," starring Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominee Eric Roberts, with original songs written and performed by Grammy Award and People's Choice Award winning, and Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Emmy Award and Tony Award nominated composer, Dolly Parton.

Yesterday, May 2, Primary Stages concluded its celebratory 25th Anniversary Season with a special celebrity benefit stage reading performance of Godfather IV written by Emmy Award-winner Tom Fontana ('St. Elsewhere,' 'OZ'), with original music by Stephen Elkins. The reading was a collaborative effort between Primary Stages and the Writers Guild of America, East Foundation, for which Fontana is Foundation president. Proceeds from the reading will benefit both organizations. BroadwayWorld was there to capture the event.
