Children of a Lesser God begins previews tonight at Studio 54. Get to know the cast below as they begin Broadway performances!

Rubicon Theatre presents a timely and trenchant production of Shakespeare's tragedy KING LEAR as the centerpiece of the company's 20th Anniversary Season. Directed by Co-Founder James O'Neil, the production features a 20-member cast led by acclaimed actor and company memberGeorge Ball, who has starred in previous Rubicon productions of All My Sons, Man of La Mancha, and Jacques Brel… (New York, L.A., and international companies of the latter).

Producer Ken Davenport announced today that he has acquired the musical rights to the life of Joy Mangano, best-selling author and one of the most-successful and celebrated product inventors of her time. A creative team will be announced in the future.

SIGNing the Song returned to the Rockwell Table and Stage for one night only on Tuesday, Feb 27th at 8 pm! Using a combination of American Sign Language and singing, actor-vocalist William Martinez's SIGNing The Song shares the story of a boy who grew up in a deaf household with little exposure to TV, radio, or movies.

Bell, Book and Candle by John Van Druten is directed by guest artist Elina de Santos and runs November 17-December 10, 2017 in the Young Theatre on campus. Gillian Holroyd casts spells and performs feats of supernaturalism. She even casts a spell over an unattached publisher and he falls head over heels in love with her. Unfortunately, as it turns out, witches aren't allowed to fall in love, which presents a conundrum for dear Gillian.

Xavier Theatre Company has announced its next production, The Chalice, a new play exploring a gay Catholic man's alienation from his family, his faith and himself. The cast includes Tony Award-nominee and Obie Award-winner Austin Pendleton as the ghost of Pope Pius XII.

Following two sold-out runs in Los Angeles and a sold-out pop-up engagement in NYC, Cruel Intentions: The Musical - the stage adaptation of Roger Kumble's 1999 cult hit film, created by Jordan Ross, Lindsey Rosin and Roger Kumble - has announced the cast for its ten-week engagement at (le) Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street) this fall.

The last time Jane Kaczmarek acted on the Los Angeles stage, she transformed into the morphine-addicted Mary Tyrone in Eugene O'Neill's LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT at the Geffen Playhouse. Jane returns to the L.A. boards, this time in the traditionally-male role of Stage Manager in Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN, just opened at The Pasadena Playhouse, in a co-production with Deaf West Theatre.

Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theatre of California and Deaf West Theatre, the performing arts organization behind the Tony Award-winning and Ovation Award-winning revival of Spring Awakening, present a new production of Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN.
