Last Saturday night The cast of JERSEY BOYS welcomed THE LAST SHIP to Broadway. So last night, the cast of THE LAST SHIP serenaded their neighbor on 52nd street with a rendition of Lionel Richie's 'All Night Long' led by 16-time GrammyAward-winner Sting.

REDCAT, CalArts Downtown Center for Contemporary Arts, is pleased to present the return of the provocative and inventive New York theater ensemble Elevator Repair Service (ERS), with 5 PERFORMANCES ONLY, November 6-9, 2014, of Arguendo, a verbatim staging of the 1991 Supreme Court case Barnes v. Glen Theatre, where a group of exotic dancers used the First Amendment to challenge a ban on public nudity.

The Public Theater announced today that Elevator Repair Service's acclaimed THE SOUND AND THE FURY will be remounted by Elevator Repair Service at The Public this spring. Directed by John Collins, THE SOUND AND THE FURY begins performances in The Public's Martinson Theater on Thursday, May 14 and run through Saturday, June 13, with an official press opening on Thursday, May 21. THE SOUND AND THE FURY will mark the third collaboration between The Public and Elevator Repair Service, having previously presented Gatz and Arguendo. October is an auspicious month to make this announcement, as it marks the 85th anniversary of the original publication date of William Faulkner's masterpiece.

Nothing has changed in the course of the school's longevity; problems that once were a priority, still are. Steppenwolf Theatre Company continues its 2014/15 subscription season with the world premiere production of Airline Highway, written by Lisa D'Amour (Detroit) and directed by Joe Mantello (The Last Ship, Casa Valentina, Wicked). Steppenwolf's production will open on Broadway at Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC)'s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre following its world premiere engagement in Chicago.

Producers Jeffrey Seller and Kathryn Schenker announceD that THE LAST SHIP will offer a limited number of tickets for each performance to be sold by lottery. Entries will be accepted at the box office beginning two and a half hours prior to each performance. Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets priced at $30 each. Only one entry is allowed per person. Each person drawn may purchase up to two tickets. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Tickets must be purchased in cash. Tickets are subject to availability.

The Geffen Playhouse presents the West Coast premiere of Choir Boy. This new production -- featuring gospel music -- will highlight several performers from the Manhattan Theatre Club run. Nicholas L. Ashe and Grantham Coleman will join the previously announced Jeremy Pope.
