Sting and a performance from the cast of Broadway's THE LAST SHIP are set for ABC's The View on Monday, November 10th.

On this morning's TODAY, Al Roker gets a behind-the-scenes from Sting of the artist's new show THE LAST SHIP and takes the stage in costume to 'audition' for a role in the production.

Sting stopped by this morning's TODAY to talk about making his Broadway debut as composer of the musical THE LAST SHIP, which is loosely based on his childhood. In addition, cast members from the show performed the number 'When We Dance.'

Today, November 7th, Sting and the cast of Broadway's THE LAST SHIP will perform live today. Also during the broadcast, the morning show goes behind-the-scenes of the musical with Sting.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, The Public Theater's production of the Award-winning American musical Fun Home, following its sold-out, critically acclaimed world premiere, will receive a much-anticipated Broadway premiere this spring. Now according to the New York Times, Michael Cerveris will reprise his role in the show when it returns next year. Additional casting has not yet been announced.

THE LAST SHIP on Broadway will offer a special discount, effective immediately, for union members who present a union card when purchasing tickets at the box office at the Neil Simon Theatre, 250 W. 52 Street. 'Work is a sacrament, an outward sign of inward grace,' preaches Father O'Brien, the salty and profane priest featured in Sting's new musical, THE LAST SHIP. This musical that celebrates the men and women who still make things and who devote their lives to their work, opened Sunday, October 26.

Sting and the cast of the new musical THE LAST SHIP stood in front of 52nd Street's Neil Simon Theatre just moments before the new production officially opened, to serenade their 'Jersey Boys' counterparts across the street with a new rendition of the classic Police song 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic.'

Sting has mentioned that he's a fan of Rodgers and Hammerstein, and it certainly shows.

Last Saturday night, the cast of JERSEY BOYS welcomed The Last Ship to Broadway. So last night, the cast of The Last Ship serenaded their neighbor on 52nd street with a rendition of Lionel Richie's 'All Night Long' led by 16-time GrammyAward-winner Sting.
