TVGuide reports that the upcoming season of the Showtime hit DEXTER may be its last. At yesterday's Deutsche Bank Media, Internet and Telecom conference, Les Moonves, president and CEO of CBS Corp., which owns Showtime, commented that the drama will begin its final season this summer.

Christine Vachon, Fred Schneider, Sofia Coppola, Todd Solondz, Barbara Kopple, Scott Foundas, John Anderson, Eric Kohn, Emily Russo, Jenny Lumet and Martin Scorsese have signed on to join the previously announced Darren Aronofsky, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Hal Hartley, Peter Saraf, Nancy Savoca and Amy Ryan at First Time Fest.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Charlotte Rampling and Sean Patrick Flanery have been tapped to join Dexter for it's upcoming, and potentially final, season.

Michael Puzzo's Spirits of Exit Eleven at The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street, NYC) opened on Thursday, January 17th at 8PM. Presented by Justin Reinsilber and directed by Frank Licato, the world premiere of this new American play is directed by Frank Licato. The production runs through February 2nd. Attending the 13th Annual Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) Awards presented by Delta Air Lines tonight, October 8, 2012 will be SAG-AFTRA elected leadership reps that include national SAG-AFTRA Co- President, Roberta Reardon and national SAG-AFTRA Co-Treasurer and Co-Secretary, Amy Aquino. Actress Yvonne Strahovski has joined the cast of the Emmy(R)-nominated SHOWTIME(R) drama series DEXTER.

Actor Jason Gedrick has joined the cast of SHOWTIME's Emmy® nominated drama series DEXTER™ for Season 7. Gedrick, who will appear in a multi-episode arc, will play the manager of a Miami-area gentlemen's club that becomes linked to a high-profile murder case. Production on DEXTER begins in May in Los Angeles and will premiere on SHOWTIME Sunday, September 30th at 9:00 PM ET/PT.
