The SAG-AFTRA National Board of Directors overwhelmingly approved the creation of a Stunt Coordinator Minimum General Standards Eligibility Process Guideline during its regularly scheduled two-day plenary Oct. 20 and 21 in Los Angeles.

The brother Bottom are struggling play writers in hard competition with William Shakespeare. They are told that the future is in plays with music and dance by a local oracle. So they decide to write the first musical ever. It is a funny show and they promise tap dancing!
SAG-AFTRA today called a strike against advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, LLC (BBH) after the union's National Board unanimously voted to issue a strike authorization. Members have been instructed to not accept any work for BBH, which is illegally attempting to abandon its union contract with SAG-AFTRA.

The SAG-AFTRA National Board met today in a one-day video-conference plenary and unanimously approved the historic first-ever tentative agreement reached with Telemundo Television Studios on July 12 covering Spanish-language television performers. The board also approved the tentative agreement made with the major broadcast television networks on June 9. With the board's approval, the National Code of Fair Practice for Network Television Broadcasting (the Network Television Code) now goes to the union's membership for ratification.

Signed by Duchamp in 1960 for its owner-a young Robert Rauschenberg-this ever-provocative and still-astonishing work has a deep connection to two significant artists who radically challenged and redefined our notions of 'art' and changed the course of art history. Acquired from the internationally respected Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, through Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Paris, Duchamp's Bottle Rack will go on view today, February 13, 2018, in the Art Institute's Gallery 395B, contextualized within the museum's exceptional galleries of modern art.
