According to aceshowbiz.com, Cyndi Lauper has teamed up with Survivor producer Mark Burnett to create a reality show centered on her life in New York City. The show would also feature her husband of 19 years, actor David Thornton and their 12 year-old son, Declyn. Lauper was last seen on TV in this season's Celebrity Apprentice.

Penned by rising voices of American theatre, 7-ELEVEN is performed by a cast of 22 dynamic, diverse and talented men & women. Directed by Leslie C. Nemet, the show will begin performances on April 6th on the main-stage at TBG Arts Center, located at 312 West 36th Street in New York City.

On the heels of concert performances at DR2 Theater, D-Lounge, Bowery Poetry Club, and Don't Tell Mama's, The New Rock Musical SOUL SEARCHING - along with GENERATIONS, The All-Kids Rock Musical Workshop - will appear in the 2008 New York Musical Theater Festival (www.nymf.org) with a series of special performances at the Nuyorican Poets Café, 236 East 3rd Street between B & C.
