The Paley Center for Media announced today that it will partner with Livestream to offer live streaming of all panels at PaleyFest: Fall TV Preview Parties, September 5 - 11 at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills.
Naxos Canadian Classics to Release DREAMSCAPES Recording with Works by Vivian Fung, 9/25

Naxos Canadian Classics announces the September 25, 2012 release of Dreamscapes, a world premiere recording of three works by Edmonton-born composer Vivian Fung. The recording features Ms. Fung's acclaimed Violin Concerto (2011) and Piano Concerto "Dreamscapes" (2009), performed by Metropolis Ensemble with conductor Andrew Cyr, violinist Kristin Lee, and pianist Conor Hanick; and her Glimpses for prepared piano (2006), performed by Mr. Hanick. The concertos, both commissioned by Metropolis Ensemble, were recorded at Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood and produced by Tim Martyn.

Horse Trade Theater Group will present StrangeDog Theatre Company's production of Ben Clawson's (Claire Went to France with Horse Trade; recipient of the Kennedy Center's David Mark Cohen Award) THE VIRILOGY. The production will be directed by Artem Yatsunov (Bootstraps at Luna Stage Company; Claire Went to France at UNDER St. Marks) and will feature Scott Cagney, David Murgittroyd*, and Alejandro Hernandez.
2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awardees Announced

Two-time Tony Award nominated costume designer Carrie Robbins, and scenic, lighting, costume designer and educator Lloyd Burlingame are among the 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, May 4, at 6:30pm, at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Ms. Robbins was selected to receive the 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Mr. Burlingame will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design.
Iridium Hosts ALLMAN BROTHERS Aftershows in March

The Allman Brothers will reprise their Beacon Theater residency again this March, but the music doesn't stop when the curtain falls. Each weekend, The Iridium will host special late-night sets by some of the band's side projects, collaborators, and associates, including Duane Trucks, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, Col. Bruce Hamptonand more. Special surprise guests will join the announced performers each night.

Anoche tuvo lugar en el Teatro Lope de Vega la gala de estreno de 'El Rey León' en Madrid. Caras famosas y rostros reconocidos de cine, TV y sobre todo de teatro musical no se perdieron este gran evento, como Geraldine Larrosa, Angel Llacer o Paloma San Basilio. La directora Julie Taymor y el letrista Tim Rice asistieron también a la velada.
