USA Greenlights Pilot for World War II Alien-Invasion Series HORIZON

USA Network today finalized a cast contingent pilot order for the hour-long period genre series HORIZON. The Universal Cable Productions' project with Valhalla Entertainment is the first new pilot from executive producer Gale Anne Hurd since the Golden Globe®-nominated "The Walking Dead," which comes from her studio deal. Stacey Levin, Valhalla's VP of Television, and Kris Henigman, Director of Development, shepherded the project.

Events of the day included music and dance performances, a marketplace, film screenings, an economic development power brunch and a tasting of Caribbean food. BWW Reviews: African American Shakespeare Company Creates Magic for Children with CINDERELLA

Although the African American Shakespeare Company does not promote its production of "Cinderella" as children's theatre, the term describes the show entirely. The script contains a few hilarious moments that will fill any person with a lot of joy, but it seems written purely for children. The acting, too, comes across as melodramatic and perfect for children.
