LUDO'S BROKEN BRIDE: A ROCK OPERA, starring Drew Gasparini (John Lennon Songwriting Award), Alysha Umphress (American Idiot) and Caitlin Kinnunen (Bridges of Madison County) will make its world premiere tonight to a sold out audience at The Cutting Room. The concert will also star Randy Blair (Fat Camp) and Brian Charles Rooney (The Threepenny Opera) with Nate Begle (John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean), Aymee Garcia (Shrek, Avenue Q), Maddy Jarmon (), Dan Kohler (Flashdance), Brendan Malafronte (John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean), Anthea Neri (NAA's Oliver), Azudi Onyejekwe (Violet), and Kate Steinberg.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) in association with Chinese Mother Jewish Daughter, LLC present Rescue Rue, a new musical fairytale with puppets; Concept, Book and Additional Lyrics by Stacey Weingarten, and Music and Lyrics by Kate Steinberg & Joshua Zecher-Ross. Stacey Weingarten directs a cast of seven including Jennifer Barnhart* (Bway: Avenue Q), Nate Begle(Off Bway: John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean), Sarah Liz Haines* (Off Bway: Freckle Face Strawberry), Jason Jacoby* (Off Bway: Avenue Q), Lisa Helmi Johanson* (Off Bway: Avenue Q), Brendan Malafronte (Nat. LUDO'S BROKEN BRIDE: A ROCK OPERA, based on the concept album by the alternative rock band LUDO will be presented in a one night only concert event at The Cutting Room on Monday, June 23, tickets are now on sale. Producing Artistic Director Mark Cortale, now entering his fourth season at the helm of Provincetown's Art House Theater, has made the picturesque Cape Cod town a must-do stop on the itinerary of Broadway's brightest stars. Well-Strung: the Singing String Quartet will make their West Coast debut with a series of concerts in four cities over the holiday season. The quartet will appear at Feinstein's in San Francisco on December 27 at 8pm and December 28 at 7pm; at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles on December 30 at 8pm; at Martini's Above Fourth in San Diego on New Year's Eve, December 31 at 7pm; and at The Copa in Palm Springs on January 3 and 4 at 8pm. Chinese Mother Jewish Daughter Productions will present a developmental reading of Madame: The Musical on October 10 at Ripley-Grier Studios. The work was previously developed at the New York Musical Theater Festival's inaugural reading series in 2012.

Well-Strung will make their European debut in a show directed and co-written by Donna Drake, at Leicester Square Theatre from tonight 19 September - Saturday 21 September.

Jeffery Roberson, better known on stage and screen as his drag icon alter-ego Varla Jean Merman, will appear at London's Leicester Square Theatre in her hit comedy show "The Book of Merman" September 19 - 21. She is joined on a double-bill by fast-rising Well-Strung, the Singing String Quartet who've just had two recent hit Off-Broadway productions in New York and their first album released this year.
