Principal Pops Conductor Michael Feinstein opens the 2018 Pasadena POPS Sierra Summer Concert Series on Saturday, June 23rd with That's Entertainment: Gershwin to Sondheim. The POPS season opener will cover the gamut of the Great American Songbook from jazz standards to Broadway hits, and vintage charts that can't be heard anywhere else. Hear your Broadway favorites from Porgy and Bess and An American in Paris to Company and Follies, plus popular standards and vintage archival surprises with Nice Work if You Can Get It, S'Wonderful, and Being Alive just to name a few.
Jump For Joy! The Off-Broadway cast recording of the New York premiere production of the new musical Unexpected Joy, with book and lyrics by Bill Russell (Side Show) and music by Janet Hood (Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens with Bill Russell), will be recorded and released by JAY Records. Produced by John Yap, the recording will feature the original cast of The York Theatre Company production who will gather at Sear Sound Studios (353 West 48th Street) on Monday, May 14, 2018 to lay down the tracks for the recording.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and Tony Award winning actor David Hyde Pierce deserve a standing ovation for their recent donations to CaringKind, NYC's leading expert in Alzheimer's and dementia care for more than three decades. The non-profit recently received a $25,000 contribution from BC/EFA, which was matched by Pierce for a total of $50,000 that will fund CaringKind's free programs and services for the thousands of individuals, families and caregivers affected by an Alzheimer's or dementia diagnosis.
