The Yoruba God Esu Elegba has been sentenced to live the life of a mortal African-American woman throughout the 20th Century as penance for causing human deformities and suffering. Inspired by the life and works of Zora Neale Hurston, the play takes us from the Harlem Renaissance, to the mystical realms of African gods, to present day Louisiana to impart a tale of faith, acceptance and love.

Take Wing And Soar Productions proudly presents Euripides' Medea, at the National Black Theatre, from February 15 - March 2. In a new translation by Nicholas Rudall and directed by Petronia Paley, Medea stars Tony Award Winning actress Trezana Beverley

Take Wing And Soar Productions' Spring Gala will honor actor Earle Hyman with the 'Take Wing And Soar Spirit of Excellence Pioneer Award.' The reception & presentation, on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, will be followed by the performance of their Mainstage production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Take Wing And Soar Productions will present William Shakespeare's Hamlet at the Workshop Theatre on 312 W 36th St. Starring Timothy D. Stickney as Hamlet, the show is directed by Elizabeth Swain and features Petronia Paley (Gertrude), Arthur French (Polonius, Gravedigger), and Jerome Preston Bates (Claudius).

'Land O'Fire,' a new play by Luis Santeiro, plays this February at the Wings Theater in Manhattan.
