The world premiere of Ryan Landry's "M", legendary Boston artist Ryan Landry's inspired take on Fritz Lang's film noir masterpiece M, begins at the Huntington Theatre Company on March 29. Known for his blending of classic source material with his unique brands of comedy and imaginative theatricality, Landry (Mildred Fierce) transforms the iconic film about a city panicked by an elusive child killer into a surreal, screwball take that is both hilarious and heart-stirring. Directed by Caitlin Lowans (Turn of the Screw at Stoneham Theatre), the production's ensemble cast includes Gold Dust Orphans' regulars Larry Coen and David Drake, as well as Boston favorite Karen MacDonald (Good People and All My Sons at the Huntington) in the title role that made film actor Peter Lorre famous.
