Acclaimed New York actress Niffer Clarke (Bells Are Ringing, Adding Machine) presents her debut solo album, "Beyond the Ingenue", to be released on December 3rd.

A winner of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and a national treasure, Chita Rivera made her annual pilgrimage to Birdland for four very special concerts this past weekend. Block, Phyllis Newman, Tommy Tune, John McDaniel, David Cromer, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Billy Stritch, Rob Bowman, Louis St. Louis, Gerald McCullouch, Valarie Pettiford, Erich Bergen, Eric Ulloa, and Women on the Verge cast members Laura Benanti, Nikka Lanzarone, Justin Guarini, and Mary Beth Peil. The concerts were part of the Broadway at Birdland series, which celebrate performers and composers from the Great White Way.

Brendan Fraser and Denis O'Hare star in ELLING on Broadway with Jennifer Coolidge in ELLING, new comedy from London, directed by Tony Award-winner Doug Hughes. From the producers who presented the critically acclaimed landmark David Cromer production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, now comes the New York premiere of the new comedy, Mistakes Were Made, by Craig Wright with direction by Dexter Bullard. The two-character play features Academy Award-nominee Michael Shannon as producer Felix Artifex and Mierka Girten as his assistant Esther, with puppetry by Sam Deutsch, and reunites the creative team of the Off-Broadway smash hit Bug Bullard, Shannon and Barrow Street. The 16-week limited engagement began performances November 5, 2010 at the Barrow Street Theatre. Opening night is Sunday evening, November 14, 2010.

This season, along with Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story of Christmas, which runs on the Hubbard Stage, the Alley Theatre will once again present a second holiday production, David Sedaris' The Santaland Diaries on the Neuhaus Stage. Alley Artist Todd Waite will reprise his role as 'Crumpet the Elf' in the outlandish, and true, chronicles of David Sedaris' experience as a worker in Macy's SantaLand display. Also this season, for select performances Alley Artist Paul Hope will appear as 'Crumpet the Elf': December 8 at 7:30 PM, December 9 at 7:30 PM, December 10 at 6:00 PM and Saturday, December 11 at 2:30 PM.
