Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) will open A. R. Gurney's new play, THE GRAND MANNER starring Kate Burton, Boyd Gaines, Bobby Steggert and Brenda Wehle. The production, directed by Mark Lamos, began previews Tuesday, June 1 and opens on Thursday, June 24 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 W. 65 Street).

Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. will present the Midwest Premiere of CHERRYWOOD: THE MODERN COMPARABLE by Kirk Lynn at Angel Island, 735 W. Sheridan. It will open Thursday, June 24th, 2010 at 8 p.m. and run Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 on Thursday and Sunday, $20 on Friday, and $22 on Saturday. There will be no performance on July 4th and the Sunday July 25th performance will be at 3 p.m. There will be previews on Tuesday and Wednesday June 22nd and 23rd at 8 p.m. Tickets for previews are $5. We will close on Sunday, August 8th, 2010 at 7 p.m. There is parking available in the Mobil Gas Station across from the theater at a fee determined by Mobil Gas. Producers Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian and Tom Wirtshafter announced today that Academy Award-winning actress Helen Hunt will join the cast of David Cromer's acclaimed production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, for four weeks only (Tuesday, July 6th to Sunday, August 1st), at the Barrow Street Theatre, succeeding Michael McKean, who will give his final performance on Sunday evening, July 4. Ms. Hunt becomes the sixth actor to assume the iconic role in this record-breaking production.

The LCT3 production of GRACELAND, a new play by Ellen Fairey, plays at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, (229 W. 42 Street). Marin Hinkle, David Gelles Hurwitz, Brian Kerwin, Polly Lee and Matt McGrath are featured in the play which is directed by Henry Wishcamper. This New York premiere began previews May 3, and opened Monday, May 17. The production runs through Saturday, May 29. LCT3 is Lincoln Center Theater's programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences.
