MCC Theater Rounds Out 2015-16 Season with Halley Feiffer's 'A FUNNY THING...'

MCC THEATER has announced the final production of its four-show 2015-16 Main Stage Season, which runs August 2015 through June 2016. Playwright Halley Feiffer (I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard) will make her MCC Theater debut with her play A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City. Trip Cullman returns to direct after helming this season's critically acclaimed hit Punk Rock. Full details below. This also marks the reunion of Feiffer and Cullman following their hit production of I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard at the Atlantic Theater Company in early 2015.

STAGE TUBE: Highlights from KC Rep's ANGELS IN AMERICA, Directed by David Cromer

Kansas City Repertory Theatre presents the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning play by Tony Kushner, Angels in America, directed by MacArthur 'Genius' Fellow David Cromer. The Hypocrites are pleased to continue their 2014-15 season with Samuel Beckett's comic masterpiece ENDGAME, directed by Artistic Director Halena Kays*, playing tonight, February 20 - April 4, 2015 at their new home, The Den Theatre Mainstage, 1329-1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

Hot Ticket! Amanda Seyfried to Make Off-Broadway Debut Opposite Thomas Sadoski in Neil LaBute's THE WAY WE GET BY

It's going to be a hot ticket! Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has just announced that film star Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables, Dear John, Mamma Mia!, upcoming Ted 2 and Pan) will make her off- Broadway debut opposite Thomas Sadoski (The Newsroom, Wild, upcoming in NBC's The Slap) in the upcoming world premiere production of NEIL LaBUTE's drama, THE WAY WE GET BY. Directed by Tony nominee LEIGH SILVERMAN, the production will begin previews on April 28, 2015 and officially open on May 20, 2015 at Second Stage Theatre, 305 West 43rd Street.

Atlantic Theater Company is proud to announce that the world premiere production of Halley Feiffer's play I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard, directed by Trip Cullman, has been extended an additional two weeks due to high ticket demand following opening last night to critical acclaim.

Angels in America , which transformed the landscape of American theatre when it premiered in 1991, is a riveting, thought-provoking masterpiece about sexuality, identity, religion, and American's history and future, set in the AIDS crisis of the late 1980s.
