The 71st Annual Theatre World Awards - the oldest award given for a debut theatre performance on or off-Broadway - will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 at 7:45 p.m. at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036). The winners of this year's Theatre World Awards will be announced today, May 5. The 2015 John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre will be presented to Chita Rivera.

The winners of the 2015 New York Drama Critics' Circle Awards will be announced tonight, May 4, 2015 at 6pm. The selections were made at the organization's 80th annual voting meeting, at the offices of Time Out New York in Manhattan. The awards will be presented at a private cocktail reception on Tuesday, May 19.

?Gingold Theatrical Group continued its SHAW NEW YORK 2014 festival on Monday Dec 15th with its sold out Shaw Concert featuring The Tesla Quartet as a candle-lit soiree at The Players club on Gramercy Park South in Manhattan. The Tesla Quartet consists of violinists Michelle Lie, Edwin Kaplan and Ross Snyder, with Serafim Smigelskiy on cello.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has announced the publication of Quiara Alegria Hudes's The Happiest Song Plays Last, the final play in Hudes's award-winning Elliot trilogy. In 2013, The Happiest Song Plays Last premiered at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, with a later Off-Broadway run at New York's Second Stage Theatre in 2014. A 2015 production at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival has been announced.
