As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Infinity Theatre Company will bring DAMES AT SEA to Broadway in 2014. With a book and lyrics by George Haimsohn and Robin Miller, music by Jim Wise, and musical direction by Rob Berman (The Pajama Game, Finian's Rainbow), DAMES AT SEA will be directed and choreographed by three time Tony Award nominee Randy Skinner (42nd Street, Irving Berlin's White Christmas).

The Broadway Ballyhoo, now in its sixth month at The Laurie Beechman Theater, will present STEPHEN DeROSA, the multi-talented singer/actor who is currently featured in BETRAYAL and who has starred on Broadway as The Baker in the revival of INTO THE WOODS; he is also well-known for playing Eddie Cantor in EMPIRE BOARDWALK. Also starring this week at the Ballyhoo: JESSICA HENDY who starred on Broadway in CATS, AMOUR, and AIDA. Song and Dance man DANNY GARDNER (Broadway by the Year, Noah Racey's Pulse, and Room 17B) will be on the bill, as will concert and recording artist TEDI MARSH! An industry reading of Neurosis: A New Musical will be presented October 24-25 at Ripley-Grier Studios.
Neurosis features a book by Allan Rice, music by Ben Green, and lyrics by Greg Edwards. Rice has written for television shows including "The New Adventures of Old Christine" on CBS and the upcoming Kelsey Grammer-Martin Lawrence Project on FX. Green is a veteran of Hasty Pudding Theatricals and a frequent orchestrator for Laurence O'Keefe (Heathers, Sarah Plain and Tall). Edwards, a two-time finalist for the Fred Ebb Award, has collaborated with Marvin Hamlisch and Arthur Laurents.
Ten years ago, as a reaction to over-amplification of musicals, Scott Siegel had the crazy idea that there might be an audience for a concert of Broadway show tunes performed the way they used to be sung: without microphones. And Scott had the perfect place to try out his theory, the acoustically wonderful Town Hall on West 43rd St. With no money, but the support of a great many singers who wanted, literally, to be heard in a way that was no longer possible on Broadway, he launched the first Broadway Unplugged, boasting 'Sound Design by God.'
