Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of David Lindsay-Abaire's GOOD PEOPLE, the critically acclaimed new American play directed by Daniel Sullivan, plays through Sunday, May 29. Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere of THE WHIPPING MAN, the acclaimed new play by Matthew Lopez, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes, will close on April 10 after 3 extensions. The two-person cast will feature Tony nominee Maria Dizzia (In The Next Room, or The Vibrator Play; The Drunken City) and Greg Keller (33 Variations in Los Angeles, The Seagull at CSC).

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) announced casting today for the 2011 Shakespeare in the Park summer season featuring MEASURE FOR MEASURE, directed by David Esbjornson, and ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL, directed by Daniel Sullivan, running in repertory June 6 - July 30 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Previews begin tonight for Roundabout Underground's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) The Dream of the Burning Boy, a new play by David West Read directed by Evan Cabnet.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce that due to overwhelming demand, a second extension for Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of David Lindsay-Abaire's GOOD PEOPLE, the critically acclaimed new American play directed by Daniel Sullivan. Tickets to the limited engagement are now on sale through Sunday, May 29. The production had previously been on sale through Sunday, May 8.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, stage veterans Nicholas Hoult, John Kassir, Ewan McGregor, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, and Stanley Tucci are on board for New Line/Legendary's 'Jack the Giant Killer.' The movie will be written by Darren Lemke and directed by Bryan Singer.
