Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw presents SUPER SHAW One Night Only!! Tuesday, September 29 at 7pm at the Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South)

The Primary Stages School of Theater (PSST) is an interdisciplinary institution where students may hone their skills and develop their careers in a nurturing and collaborative environment. The School provides extensive opportunities for emerging artists, professionals, and life-long learners to collaborate with working professional artists while building strong relationships within the New York theater community.

This evening's performance of 'Chasing Manet' at Primary Stages has been cancelled as cast member Vanessa Aspillaga rushes out of town to tend to a family emergency. Donnetta Grey, who recently appeared in 'Shipwrecked! An Entertainment,' will appear onstage, book in hand, when performances resume tomorrow evening at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters.

The Award-winning Broadway musical Mary Poppins and ADVENTURES BY DISNEY, a leader in guided family vacations, partnered to celebrate the show's historic 1000th performance at the New Amsterdam Theatre on Thursday April 9th. To a shower of confetti following the curtain call, the Moore family of Marlboro, NJ were brought on stage, visibly moved, as Thomas Schumacher, producer and president of Disney Theatrical Productions, presented them with a 6-night/7-day vacation to London and Paris.

The performance will take place at the Players, 16 Gramercy Park South (20th St. east of Park Avenue) and will feature Jayne Houdyshell, Daniel Jenkins Liz Morton, Robert Stanton, and host David Cote. The performance is produced and directed by David Staller.

The Players and Project Shaw presents two and a half wacky one-acts. ONE: THE DARK LADY OF THE SONNETS, In which Will Shakespeare meets Elizabeth I on a moolit night ! Is she the fabled Dark Lady ? TWO: SHAKES VERSUS SHAV, * In which Shaw and Shakespeare (and several of their literary characters) duke it out ! Who wins ? And 1/2: CYMBELINE REFINISHED, In which Shaw sends up the endlessly confusing final Shakespearean act of CYMBELINE, bringing us a speedy and happilly larkishish finale! (All 10+ characters will be played by the devilishly dexterous and felicitously flexible Daniel Jenkins and Robert Stanton !)
