The Public Theater has announced complete casting for the Shakespeare in the Park production of TWELFTH NIGHT.

As the blockbuster Chicago returns to the West End for its 21yr anniversary, Kander and Ebb are more celebrated than ever. Stuart Saint and the Stockwell Playhouse revive one of most beloved musical theatre revues, celebrating the iconic writing tour de force, breathing new life into the most memorable material, paying homage to original works and proving that this legendary pair will always remain relevant as THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND.

My Land's Shore is the epic musical based on the true story of a Welsh miner who was swept away by the wheels of history to become the first martyr of the Welsh working class, will receive its Welsh professional premiere in Merthyr in February 2018. A story of guilt, love, injustice and rebellion, set during the Merthyr Rising of 1831, concerning one of the most iconic figures in the history of Wales (Dic Penderyn) and written by two Welsh creatives - composer/lyricist Christopher J. Orton and librettist/lyricist Robert Gould, My Land's Shore has its roots in the very fabric of the hearts and minds of the Welsh nation.

As it settles into its run, expect this production of 'Earnest' to bring out comedy that goes against the grain of the times, but is no less funny for that.

Coming off of four previous sold-out festivals, The Collective NY returns for a 5th year of the wildly popular Collective:10 Play Festival, with 11 world premiere ten-minute plays in two programs. All of the plays presented, plus two additional selections, will be published in a fifth volume of the best-selling The Collective:10 Anthology.

For the past three years some of New York's most joyous theatrical celebrations have graced the city as the first September chill starts to pervade Central Park's Delecorte, when the Public Theater's Public Works program assembles a cast of over 200 strong to saturate a classic text with the flavor of the five boroughs.

The Public Theater's free PUBLIC WORKS production of TWELFTH NIGHT, conceived by Kwame Kwei-Armah and Shaina Taub, with music and lyrics by Shaina Taub, and directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah, begins at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park tonight, Friday, September 2, and ribs through Monday, September 5.
